Thanks Tapper...

One of the brightest students (and most involved) at the high school I teach at had this posted on his myspace page (yes, I snoop to see what my kids are up to; you wanna to fight about it?:)).

I find it hilarious, not surprising, and possibly from one of the teachers I work with. This is a fine example of the F'd up priorities and pressures of the American education system. We must balance the task of student control to an extent of near ridiculous only to have some D-bag push it to the point of not allowing students to think for themselves. Priorities are pretty messed up, but clearly one of my students can identify satire-now that should be on the state mandated test!

OMG, this is too much!

I'm a former teacher, so I can understand that discipline can be an issue, but know you're lesson plan man!

I doubt I could even punish my kid in a situation like this. Though a lesson in discretion might be in order.
