24 weeks and counting

That is 6 months for those who are not obsessively counting each week and the major developments in a normal pregnancy.

This is the 20 week ultra sound and we are not finding out the gender. I have found that most people look at me with sadness when I say "we are not finding out" like I am the worst person in the world. I just really want the surprise, I don't get Santa anymore...I need something. The looks and comments are at least kinder than when I tell them I planning on fully natural labor and cloth diapers. Opinions during pregnancy fly faster and heavier than while planning a wedding, apparently I am a disillusioned hippy.

I am over it.

Good for you! Imagine what all those people did before you could find out what you were having...they were fine.

You mean unmedicated birth. A "natural" birth is a birth through the birth canal. You should make up a birth plan so that your DR and Hospital know your wishes. Don't feel guilty if it doesn't work out the way you want. The goal is a healthy child and mother!

Thanks for the info anonymous, I already have the birth plan complete and covered. I apologize for my improper use of "natural".

I like that you're not finding out the baby's sex. So count me in as one of the ones who will not give you a pitying look!
